• The film industry relies heavily on publicity.
  Reviews are an important source of information
  about films. They appear in a number of forms
• TV programmes
• Magazines/ Specialist film magazines, such as
  Empire, Premiere, Hotdog DVD Review, try to
  cover all feature films that are released.
• Rental retail DVD releases
• Newspapers both national, local freebies
• Radio stations have slots in programmes where
  newly released films are discussed
• Film websites
• Phone APPs

• A good film review should be more than just the
  reviewers opinion of the film.
• It should provide potential viewers with
  information about the film that will allow them
  to decide whether it is worth seeing or not.
