  • Level 0-No talking
  • Level 1-Whisper to one friend
  • Level 2-Quiet conversation in a group
  • Level 3-Answering questions, Presenting to the
    class, or playing outside or in PE.

  • S-Show a positive attitude!
  • O-Own your actions!
  • A-Always do your best!
  • R-Respect others and yourself!

Morning Routine
  • Come in and unpack your backpack.
  • Turn in take home folder.
  • Take a restroom break and get water.
  • Check out a book to read.
  • Sharpen 2 pencils for the day.
  • Get out your folder math book for supplemental
    math.
  • Begin work on the assignment listed on the board
    or begin the worksheet on your desk.
  • Work level 1.

Class Discussions
  • No talking while the teacher is teaching and
    talking.
  • Raise your hand to talk.
  • Talk level 3 when called on.
  • Listen level 0 at all times.
  • Add to the discussions, you are a big part of the
    team! Everyone is important!

Lining Up to Travel
  • Stand up level 0
  • Push in your chair
  • Line up by teacher direction
  • Stay level 0 in line throughout the building

Entering the Room
  • You are still level 0 from traveling in the hall.
  • Walk quietly to your seat.
  • Stay level 0 to hear directions.

Restroom
  • No restroom breaks while teacher is teaching.
  • Use your restroom pass wisely.
  • If it is a class restroom break at the hall
    restroom, you must try to go. You may whisper to
    a friend.
  • Go in, take care of business, and wash your hands
    with soap.
  • Take care of the restroom. You are to help keep
    it clean!
  • Come back in the classroom quietly and ready to
    get back on task.

Lunchroom Expectations
  • Enter the cafeteria serving line as a space opens
    up for you. Dont crowd.
  • Once you enter the kitchen level 0.
  • Pick up your fork, tray, and milk. Remember to
    use your manners. Stay in a quiet line to hear
    the cafeteria ladies and say, Yes, please No,
    thank you and Thank you
  • Pick up your napkin, sauces, and walk to the
    table.
  • Use your level 2 voice to talk to the friends
    sitting around you.
  • Clean up your area before leaving.
  • Dump tray as directed. Keeping food off the
    floor.

Paper and Supplies
  • Use all supplies wisely!
  • Paper passers will pass out paper quickly.
    Quietly wait, if you dont receive a paper, raise
    your hand.
  • Classroom supplies should be taken care of and
    shared with your friends.
  • Let me know if you notice supplies are getting
    low.

Changing Classes
  • Gather your supplies as directed.
  • Line up level 0.
  • Walk quietly to the classroom you are changing
    to.
  • Stay level 0 and enter Mrs. Jollys class, Mrs.
    Halcombs, or Ms. Nashs class as directed by
    them.
  • Enter level 0 following their directions.

Ending our Day
  • Pack up following teacher directions.
  • Get out your folder for stamping or marking,
    leave it on the table to get it marked.
  • Get your backpack from your cubby.
  • Take home your folder and all papers.
  • Clean up your area, nothing on the floor, papers
    picked up and thrown away.
  • Leave your backpack on your desk.
  • Prepare for specials.
  • When you come back from specials, get your
    backpack and quickly get to the carpet.

  • My goal is for each of you to hit the goals that
    you have for second grade.
  • I want you to earn as many SOAR tickets as
    possible.
  • I want us to receive compliments every day and to
    earn a compliment party every week!
  • I want this to be the best team in the school!
