TENER QUE have to expressions
  • To say that you have to or must do
    something, you use the expression TENER QUE
    followed by the infinitive indicating what you
    have to do.
  • First, conjugate TENER to show who has to do
    something, then follow with QUE, then use the
    inifinitive of the verb showing what has to be
    done. You do not conjugate the verb showing the
    action to be done.
