What is higher than Everest?

• God
• . We must set our sights on the Highest
• God of the universe!
• . As Christians we realize we have been raised
  to the highest heights.

Colossians 31-4
1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those
things which are above, where Christ is, sitting
at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on
things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For
you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in
God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears,
then you also will appear with Him in glory.

How are we raised with Christ?

• Rom. 64 Therefore we are buried with him by
  baptism into death that like as Christ was
  raised up from the dead by the glory of the
  Father, even so we also should walk in newness of
  life.

Why?

• 1. Why is it folks cant make it to service but
  one time a week and yet they can attend a ball
  game and sit and watch a double header, or not
  miss one single meeting at school or work or even
  in some cases attend these functions sick? It is
  their Mindset!

• 2. Why is it that folks respect the laws of this
  land and readily accept their responsibility to
  obey them and yet try to disprove the law of God
  and show little regard for Gods authority today?
  
• It is their mind-set! They have brought God
  down to mans level and in their minds they no
  longer respect and regard Gods law!
• What is wrong? It is their mind-set!
