Who Can Play?

• IF
• you have a physical injury or disability that
  causes measurable and observable limitation to
  movement and in particular the core actions of
  volleyball,
• OR
• You are hard of hearing, deaf, use a hearing aid
  or use an Auslan or sign interpreter
• THEN
• you may be eligible to play D-Volleyball and you
  should seek further information

Sitting Standing Volleyball

• An injury or disability that affect a persons
  ability to move,
• Reduced limb length, such as amputation,
  shortening from birth or injury
• Reduced Range of Movement in one or more major
  joints, caused by trauma, surgery or present
  since birth
• Reduced muscle power / strength caused by severe
  fractured, joint injury, trauma or nerve damage
  to arms, legs or spine
• Movement related coordination from Cerebral Palsy
  or Brain Injury
• Joint Replacement of knee or hip, severe
  instability of knee caused by severe ligament
  injury (sitting volleyball only)

Deaf Volleyball

• Any amount of hearing loss eligible within
  Australia
• Any cause of loss of hearing
• Internationally require at least 55 dB loss
