3Now it was told King David, saying, The LORD has
blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that
belongs to him, on account of the ark of God.
David went and brought up the ark of God from the
house of Obed-edom into the city of David with
gladness. And so it was, that when the bearers of
the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he
sacrificed an ox and a fatling. And David was
dancing before the LORD with all his might, and
David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all
the house of Israel were bringing up the ark of
the LORD with shouting and the sound of the
trumpet. 2 Samuel 6

5When Extreme Worship occurs, it is always a
response to Gods nature and character
6Davids Extreme Worship was the result of he Ark,
the presence of God among the Jews, was now back
in Jerusalem after being in the hands of the
Philistines.
Davids worship was victorious
Davids worship was passionate
Davids worship was personal
7Then it happened as the ark of the LORD came into
the city of David that Michal the daughter of
Saul looked out of the window and saw King David
leaping and dancing before the LORD and she
despised him in her heart. 2 Samuel 616
8But when David returned to bless his household,
Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet
David and said, How the king of Israel
distinguished himself today! He uncovered himself
today in the eyes of his servants maids as one
of the foolish ones shamelessly uncovers
himself! So David said to Michal, It was before
the LORD, who chose me above your father and
above all his house, to appoint me ruler over the
people of the LORD, over Israel therefore I will
celebrate before the LORD. I will be more
lightly esteemed than this and will be humble in
my own eyes, but with the maids of whom you have
spoken, with them I will be distinguished.
Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the
day of her death.
2 Samuel 6 20-23
91 Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to
Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had
raised from the dead. 2 Here a dinner was given
in Jesus honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was
among those reclining at the table with him. 3
Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an
expensive perfume she poured it on Jesus feet
and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house
was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
104 But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who
was later to betray him, objected, 5 Why wasnt
this perfume sold and the money given to the
poor? It was worth a years wages. 6 He did not
say this because he cared about the poor but
because he was a thief as keeper of the money
bag, he used to help himself to what was put into
it. 7 Leave her alone, Jesus replied. It
was intended that she should save this perfume
for the day of my burial. 8 You will always have
the poor among you, but you will not always have
me. John 121-7

12Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His
benefits Who pardons all your iniquities, Who
heals all your diseases Who redeems your life
from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness
and compassion Who satisfies your years with
good things, So that your youth is renewed like
the eagle. The LORD performs righteous deeds And
judgments for all who are oppressed. He made
known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of
Israel. The LORD is compassionate and
gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in
lovingkindness.
Psalm 1032-8
13What has He done for me?
What sins has He forgiven me of?
Which of my prayers has He answered?
Which of my burdens has He carried?
Which of my sickness and diseases has He healed?
What joys has He brought me?
Is He worthy now of your worship?
