• We were not saved by works of righteousness v.5
• We were saved through the mercy of God bestowed
  in the washing of regeneration renewal of the
  Holy Spirit v.5
• Those who have believed in God should be careful
  to maintain good works v.8

  works go about working out their own salvation?

• Develop a Christ-Like Character
• Growing in the Grace and Knowledge of Jesus
  Christ
• 2 Peter 317,18 15-11
• Developing Christ-like qualities vv.5-8
• Requires diligence, ever increasing growth
  vv.5-8
• To lack these things jeopardizes our entrance in
  the everlasting kingdom- vv.9-11
• Thus the need for diligence on our part
  vv.5,10

• Stop doing the things upon which Gods wrath is

• We are Reflecting in Our Lives the Glory of
  Christ that Shines in Our Own Hearts
• 2 Corinthians 45-6 NKJV 5 For we do not preach
  ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and
  ourselves your bondservants for Jesus' sake. 6
  For it is the God who commanded light to shine
  out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to
  give the light of the knowledge of the glory of
  God in the face of Jesus Christ.

• Develop a Christ-Like Service
• Fulfill your function in the body of Christ
• Romans 121-8
• We have a spiritual service of worship to
  perform, which is to prove what is that good
  acceptable perfect will of God vv.1,2
• Maintain proper spirit of humility v.3
• Remember Body of Christ has many members not
  all same function-vv.4,5
• Need to exercise our gifts- vv.6-8

• Minister your Gift as a good steward of Gods
  manifold grace
• 1 Peter 410,11
• Each person has a gift to minister to others
  v.10
• Because Gods grace is manifold, we should
  expect some diversity in our service- v.10
• Everyone to be a good steward, will one day
  answer Matthew 2514-30
• Exercise our gifts to glorify God- v.11

• Are you being careful to maintain good works?
  Titus 38 NKJV 8 This is a faithful saying, and
  these things I want you to affirm constantly,
  that those who have believed in God should be
  careful to maintain good works. These things are
  good and profitable to men.
• Titus 214 NKJV 14 who gave Himself for us, that
  He might redeem us from every lawless deed and
  purify for Himself His own special people,
  zealous for good works.
