verb.

• Yo hablo español.
• Nosotros bebemos agua.
• Ella nos habla.

DOPs

• Replace the original noun
• Agree in number and gender (singular/plural,
  masculine/femenine)
• Come right before a CONJUGATED verb
• Attached to an INFINITIVE or the PROGRESSIVE

Singular Plural

• me -me
• te -you
• lo -him, it, you (formal)
• la -her, it, you (formal)

• nos -us
• os -you all
• los -them (M), you all (formal)
• las -them (F), you all (formal)

• Yo hago mi tarea.
• Yo la hago.
• Nosotros bebemos refrescos.

DOPs with Present Progressive

• 1. Before Estar
• Ella me está ayudando.
• (She is helping me.)
• 2. After (attached to) ando/-iendo
• - Add an accent when you add a syllable! (3
  syllables from the end accent.)
• Ella está ayudándome.
• (She is helping me.)

DOP placement with infinitives

• Attached to an infinitive (or present progressive
  form)
• Van a limpiar el garaje.
• Van a limpiarlo.
• OR still out in front
• Lo van a limpiar.
