• Paris is the capital city of France.

Barnaby travelled to Kent on a train. While he
was there he visited Diggerland with his friend.

• Barnaby had lots of fun.

Then Barnaby went to Dover Castle. It is very old
and very big.

At Dover Barnaby caught a ferry to Calais in
France.

• There were lots of vehicles and people on the
  ferry. Barnaby had some food and a drink in a
  restaurant.

In Paris Barnaby stayed in a hotel. He slept in a
bunk bed.

While Barnaby was in Paris he visited Disney
Castle.

• He thought it was a magical place.

Barnaby went on a train in Paris. It went so fast
that when he looked out of the window everything
looked blurred.

Barnaby also travelled on the underground train.
It is called the Metro.

Barnaby looked for the Hunchback of Notre Dame
but he couldnt find him.

Next he went to Le Arc de Triomphe.

In Paris he looked up at the Eiffel Tower and
thought it was the tallest thing that he had ever
seen.

Barnaby thought that the white cliffs of Dover
were a beautiful sight. He saw them from the
ferry and knew that he would soon be home.
