What I learned

• One thing I learned was that Earths tides are
  effected by the moons position in space. I also
  learned that Venus is called the sister planet to
  Earth because they have the same mass but Venus
  doesnt have anything in common with Earth
  features except mass. Another thing I learned was
  that there are dwarf stars and giant stars.
  Another thing I learned was that Jupiter gives
  off twice as much heat it receives from the sun.
  Finally, I learned that there was a space race
  it was United States competing with the Soviet
  Union.

What I liked

• I liked that when they do a lab lecture that
  sometimes they use Gizmos to give you a better
  understanding. I also liked the study of stars
  and/or the study of the planets.

What I disliked

• I disliked that they had you learn a lot of
  different courses and they didnt have a small
  quiz for you at the end of the lesson instead
  they had a big quiz at the end of five courses
  and by that time I have forgotten something I
  learned. I also disliked that we didnt use any
  web sites, gizmos, etc.

Things surprised me and a cool thing I learned

• I was surprised when I heard that the sun is a
  medium sized star and that it gives off an
  average amount of heat it is very hot so there is
  stars hotter than the sun think about how hot it
  would be on Earth? Another think that surprised
  me was how much heat Jupiter gives off it gives
  off twice as much as it receives from the sun!
  The cool thing I learned was that sun is a unique
  star because I is all alone in space I t doesn't
  have another sun next to it and the cooler stars
  are red and the blue stars are the hottest.

Final Recommendation

• My final recommendation is yes you should take
  Astronomy because it is cool to learn about the
  universe and it is very interesting.
