• Basic Education
• To earn a living
• To security (in the event of sickness,
  unemployment)

Rights to participate

• Protecting right to employment
• Healthful working conditions,
• Fair wages
• Standard of living keeping with human dignity
• Possibility of property ownership

The Minimum Expectations

• Social institutions respect
• Human dignity
• Social solidarity
• Justice
• These are essential to develop individuals and
  society
• Therefore they are moral issues!

Rights

• Survival Rights
• Basic necessities, bearable existence
• Thrival Rights
• More than survival,
• To become enriched
• Live a full life
• E.g., respect, privacy, freedom of speech,
  conscience, religious liberty

Creation has rights!

• Remember all creation is essentially good and
  has value
• Therefore, creation has rights too
• Humans need to practice justice with the
  environment

Individual Justice

• Obligations between individuals
• One-to-one relationships
• E.g., simple contracts exchange

Social Justice

• Obligations that individuals and subgroups within
  society have toward their community

Distributive Justice

• The obligations a society has towards all its
  members
• The role of governments, corporations,
  communities and justly distributing societys
  resources

• Obligations we have towards the rest of creation
