Domaine des Coltabards
The Domaine des Coltabards is mainly composed of
clay-limestone soils and flint of the
municipality of Ménétréol, a plateau between
Sancerre and the Loire.

Grape Variety Sauvignon Blanc. Terroir Mainly
composed of clay-limestone soils and flint in the
municipality of Ménétréol, a plateau between
Sancerre and the Loire. Characteristics This is
limpid, brilliant wine with a pale golden-yellow
colour. It displays powerful floral aromas (white
flowers) and fruity (grapefruit, orange) on the
nose. The palate is fat and well-balanced with
remarkable length and freshness on the
finish. Our Tasting Suggestions This is a lovely
wine to drink with seafood, fish, goats cheese.

It covers 7 hectares. The vineyard is run using
Agriculture Raisonnée methids. The harvests are
controleed and a system to trace the grapes back
to the individual plot has been implemented.
