By instituting Revised Air Pollution Control Act, printing offices, paint shops, and some of places where emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are needed to regulate their VOCs emission by themselves. Present condition of counter measure which reduces solvent use and simple treatment act by adsorption has poor efficacy because of problems such as working hours and secondary treatment in small and medium sized enterprises. In addition, innovative unit of recovery and disassembly of VOCs has difficulties with the aspect of high capacity investment and running cost. In this project, we aimed at development of energy-saving air cleaning technology combining micro-bubble and ultrasonic mist with photocatalyzed reaction. In the experiment, we use water so that the low running cost and ecologically friendly cleaning technology can be achieved. In this project, graduate students and related company cooperated together in order to develop a practicable unit, and thereby we step up the measurement, analysis and obtain skills to make the best use of inventiveness from several aspects.
