What are the best sports or games from your
culture?
  • How do you share them with your classmates and
    community here in North Carolina? In the language
    youre learning, write a script that could be
    read on an audio or video broadcast describing
    two sports or games from your culture that you
    enjoy. Explain why they are the best and give
    basic details about how you continue to make sure
    theyre a part of your life now.

    where the language you are learning is spoken,

    where the countries, their capitals and major
    cities, and one other important feature or
    landmark are located.

    another country or with other language in your
    school or district. Give information about the
    current date, season and weather and describe
    your daily classroom activities. Be sure to tell

    others.

    to a student your age who lives in another
    country. Describe a typical day at your school
    and give your opinion about the best parts of the
    day for you and your classmates. Be sure to
    support your opinion with examples to illustrate

  • In the language youre learning, create a poster
    or multimedia presentation that summarizes
    everyday life of indigenous America Indian groups
    in North Carolina or the early settlers during
    colonial times. Write the script for your
    presentation and be sure to include information
    about what youve learned in social studies.
