FOR WHOM DOES YOUR HEART BEAT?

• Donate your blood! Save lives!!
• You only need to spare 30 minutes of your time
  and go to the RC Health Center!

• 930 am- 1730 pm
• Conducted by Turkish Red Crescent
• Where At the RC Health Center.

If you want to donate blood

• Read through the Donor Information Form that
  will be sent to you in English via e-mail to see
  whether you are eligible or not.
• You will fill out the Turkish version the same
  day you donate blood.
• the new version of the form has 8 additional
  questions along the same lines.

• Avoid using any medication such as aspirin 3 days
  prior to the blood donation. Do not stop using
  your regular medication if you have a medical
  condition without consulting your doctor.
• Take an appointment from the Health Center (ext.
  309).
• The whole process takes maximum 30 minutes. Then
  you can go back to your daily routine.

What will be done in this 30 minutes?

• Registration filling out the Donor Information
  Form
• A short medical examination
• Drawing the blood (takes only 8 minutes)
• Refreshments and resting
