2 situations
Aedes Aegypti
  • In 1793 in the most populated city of
Philadelphia a fever struck. It was named Yellow
Fever because it tinted your skin yellow and your
eyes were yellow. People battled against this
fever with all there might. The Caribbean's
brought it over when they were bringing goods to
America. They brought the mosquito now known as
aedes aegypti. The mosquito attracts to humidity
and moisture and body heat. The mosquito's
habitat in Philadelphia was by the river at the
center of trade. This is how it spread so quickly
because the port by the river was where people
    spent their days.

9
2 Situations
Dr. Benjamin Rush was Philadelphia's Physician.
When Yellow Fever struck He advise the city to
flee. Many people fled. Dr. Benjamin Rushs
method to kill the pesticide Was to bleed people.
He said it drained the pesticide. The people
who did this mostly died because of the loss of
blood. He found this Method because the pesticide
traveled through the blood vessels so it seemed
logic to bleed and let the pesticide out.
