The activities of the Research Academy

• The orientation session on 23rd Sept. 09 for the
  students members of Research Academy and Scholars
  Academy. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) S.A. Singh
  addressed the students. She spoke about proposed
  research activities in the institute and stressed
  upon the importance of research in developing
  scientific temperament.
• On 17th Nov. 09, Dr.Suja R. Abraham, Lecturer of
  English department, addressed the students and
  gave an insight on the methodology of Research
  Writing.
• On 24th Nov.09, students were guided about the
  survey techniques by Prof. S. Srivastava.
• During 2009- 2010, the research project has been
  carried out on Socio-Economic Background of
  Class VI Employees of VPMs Janana Dweepa which
  consists of different institutions. This is a
  pioneering research

The proposed Activities

• The proposed researches - Micro Finance,
• Would be in the areas of children and youth
  community development, , education, women and
  gender, disaster management, rural development,
  governance, natural resource management and urban
  issues.
• Introduction of framed course work in the area of
  Research for the students.
