- We are responsible to use them. (1 Pet. 410)
4Spiritual Gifts
- The Holy Spirit brings us assurance of our
personal salvation. - He brings assurance that each one of us is
special, and allows us to develop a healthy
self-esteem. - He brings us assurance that we can bear fruit and
motivates us to personal growth. - He gives us special gifts to be used in our
personal ministry.
5Definition of Spiritual Gifts
Spiritual gifts are divine abilities distributed
by the Holy Spirit to each Christian according to
the will of God for the well-being of the body of
Christ.

Natural talents are the abilities we receive at
birth. Spiritual gifts are given at the moment of
our spiritual birth.

truthfully as you can.

- The degree to which the statements have been true
or false in your life. - What you believe your response would have been
had you had the opportunity to be involved in the
activities described.

- Try not to have too many 3's because you will not
get a true picture. - After answering all the statements, write the
number circled for each statement in the
appropriate squares. - Total the five columns.
- The column with the highest score represents the
area of probable spiritual gifts.

- It gives a sense of worth and purpose to know
that God has a unique mission for us. - Because all the gifts/ministries are equally
important, there is no room for competition.

- It downplays feelings of guilt.
- We will be more enthusiastic and less discouraged
because we are serving in an area where we are
gifted rather than struggling where we are not.

1. Personal Benefits
- When you know and use your spiritual gift, you,
discover your function. - When you know your spiritual functions, your
ministry will be more fruitful and will produce
more happiness.
