  • Who should deliver this internal sus dev team
    or training, external experts?
  • Would events that went wider than the SE be more
    useful (gaining different perspectives)?
  • Should we aim training by grade / by department /
    for all?
  • Should we aim for general or related to specific
    pieces of work?
  • Should we focus on key groups like Senior
    Management, Press Office, Policy Makers Network,
    Procurement, Business Managers?
  • Size - experience in other area suggests engaging
    in small groups
  • Should we have compulsory training for SCS /Band
    C?
  • How can we share best practice across the office

  • giving general introduction to sustainable issues
    with short length of time may encourage more
    people to participate
  • could be used to cover specific issues, like
    sustainable development in the Spending Review

  • could run event aimed at Ministers / senior
    officials
  • could bring in outside experts to engage in
    debate
  • Disadvantages
  • will only be able to give overview of sustainable
    development in timeframe
  • sustainable development directorate does not have
    the capacity to run a large number of seminars,
    need support from central training / portfolios
