What does my animal look like?

• Garter snakes can be yellow, green, and orange.
  They have scales all over their body. They grow
  to 2 feet long. Some grow to 4 feet long. At
  birth they are 7.5-9 inches long. They have no
  ears or tails.

What does my animal eat?

• The Garter snake is a carnivore so it eats
  Insects, Earthworms, Frogs, Toads, Salamanders,
  and it eats mice when it is older.

Where does my animal live?

• Garter snakes live in wet meadows and damp
  forests in the U.S.A. and all over the world.
