  Costa Concordia (January 13, 2012 32 lives
  lost), South Korean Ferry (April 16, 2014 ?
  lives lost)
• Paul experienced shipwrecks (2 Cor. 1125 Acts
  2714-44)
• Paul used the figure of a shipwreck to warn about
  the loss of ones faith (1 Tim. 119-20)

• Hymenaeus and Alexander made shipwreck of the
  faith (1 Tim. 119-20)
• They destroyed themselves and others

• Timothy is told to guard his faith in the faith
  so the same will not happen to him
