• Surrealism- a 20th century movement of artists
  and writers (developing out of dadaism) who used
  fantastic images and incongruous juxtapositions
  in order to represent unconscious thoughts and
  dreams

• Salvador Dali was named after his brother that
  died as a toddler.
• It angered him that he was made to live in the
  shadow of his brother who he never met.
• So this influenced him to be an individual.

  shelved for financial reasons, but then
  re-discovered and completed in 2003 by Dominique
  Monfrey.
