INNOVATION This technology allows a complex
system such as the International Space Station to
be remotely monitored and diagnosed using
advanced diagnostic models of the systems. The
solution provides automatic system health
assessment, fault isolation and interactive
testing and maintenance.
- ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Completed commercial software development and
testing. - Announced formal release of RDS v2.2 at
AUTOTESTCON 2001. - RDS incorporated and demonstrated in the
Honeywell NOVA Wire Integrity Program.
- COMMERCIALIZATION
- RDS is trademarked and has a Patent Pending
status. - Based on RDS, Qualtech is on a 5-year contract
with Honeywell for the NOVA Wire Integrity
Program. - RDS has been leveraged by Honeywell and
demonstrated to NASA JSC for remote monitoring of
the International Space Station. - RDS is being considered by five large equipment
manufacturers for implementation in new their
after-market internet based services for remote
diagnostics. - QSI was selected to winning Honeywell team for
second generation RLV risk reduction with RDS
identified as a potential architectural element.
- GOVERNMENT/SCIENCE APPLICATIONS
- RDS is a potential upgrade to the Joint Advanced
Health and Management System (JAHUMS) for Army
and Navy helicopters. - RDS is a potential solution for ISS remote
diagnostics. - RDS is being considered as a solution to DoD
Telemaintenance ACTD (Advanced Concept Technology
Demonstration.) - Estimated savings on ISS operations and
maintenance could range from 10M to 20M per
year.
