Section one

• tell me not in mournful number,
• Life is but any empty dream!
• For soul is dead that slumbers,
• And things are not what they seem.
• What dose this mean??
• This is meaning that he believed in life
  hereafter, which is human life, he declares,
  would not be life with out the belief of life
  hereafter.

Section 2

• Life is real! Life is earnest!
• And the grave is not its goal
• Dust thou are, to dust returnest,
• Was not spoken the soul
• This means that the soul is being long
  lastering.

Section 3

• Not enjoy, and not sorrow,
• Its your destined end or way I
• But to act, that each tomorrow
• Find us further than today
• This means that we proceed through a path,
  through a transition (death) to an ever lasting
  life hereafter.

Section 4

• Art is long, and time is fleeting,
• And out hearts, though stoot and brave,
• Still, like muffled drums, are beating
• Funeral marches to the grave.
• This is meaning that art is endless, immortal
  and mans life in in his mortal frame, is
  measured by a discreet maker, time.

Section 5

• In the worlds broad field of battle,
• In the bivovae of life,
• Be not like dumb, driven cattle!
• Be a hero in the strife!
• Meaning no doubt, and no matter ones belief a
  heroic life is the only one worth living

Section 6

• Trust no future, how're pleasant!
• Let the dead past bury its dead!
• Act in the living present!
• Heart within, and god oer head!
• Meaning the good lord will take care of us, just
  as he takes care of wild birds. Have faith, make
  no plans, do not act rationally

Section 7

• Lives of great men all remind us
• We can make our lives sublime, and, departing,
  leave behind us.
• Foot prints on the sands of time.
• This means thought out the payers of history we
  will find those who have left their marks. Some
  rational, some irrational

Section 8

• Foot prints that perhaps another, sailing oer
  life's solemn main, a forlorn and ship wrecked
  brother, seeing shall take heart again.
• Meaning we are guided by those who succeed and
  we emulate their acts those who dont succeed
  indeed who gets themselves into trouble we eschew

Section 9

• Let us then be up and doing, with a heart for
  any fate still achieving, still pursuing learn
  to labor to wait.
• Meaning one should not labor long if expected
  results are not forthcoming during ones life
  and, it would be a complete waste of a life to
  wait for an award in the here after on account of
  some unfounded belief in such
