  • Leaves have 5 points.
  • Fruit is a gumball 1 ½ inch in diameter covered
    with prickly spines. This protects the seed
    inside.

  • Evergreen, perennial tree
  • Green feathery needles
  • Tree grows very symmetrical with no shaping. Fast
    grower makes it very popular as a barrier or
    border plant.

  • Slender, dull green leaves with dull points
  • Tree is very symmetrical and tall and slender
