Henry Fords Beginning
  • Henry ford was born in Michigan in 1863.
  • He started working for the Detroit Edison
    company.
  • After some time he became chief engineer.

Henry Ford Invention
  • In 1893, Henry ford built a gasoline engine.
  • He also created his own car.
  • Then ford quit Detroit automobile company and
    began to build a racing car.

What Henry Ford Accomplished
  • In 1903, Henry ford set up a ford motor company.
  • He wanted to create the mass production of a car
    which did not exist at the time.
  • In 1908, he started the production of the model
    T. Ford.
  • He stopped making the model T in 1927,when 15
    million cars had been sold.
  • Henry ford became the leading auto manufacturer
    in the country.

Politics
  • He was a successful and powerful business leader.
  • He went to Europe without the government support
    or approval, to seek peace where world war 1 was
    raging.
  • After the war he ran unsuccessfully for senate on
    the democratic ticket.
