Base the multiplier that describes the
difference between one position and the next

• Base
• Describes the number of unique numbers
  available Decimal means ten (10) Hexadecimal
  means sixteen (16) Octal means eight (8) Binary
  means two (2)
• The first digit of any base is zero (0)
• Each position of the number (no matter the base)
  carries a weight multiplier value
