CRITICAL ISSUES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
Issues Status
System Stabilization Stabilization of the RAPDRP System post Data Centre Crash on 25th Oct 2013 and 5th Nov 2013 Performance of online system and reconciliation of the offline application.
Software Simplification Driven by BESCOM in consultation with other ESCOMs. Progress so far.
GIS Deployment of GIS based integrated Network analysis Module NEPLAN pending from ITIA Incremental data updates on Network and Consumers.
MDAS The legacy meter replacement to DLMS meters is in progress. Modem installation is in progress. (Module wise progress)

CRITICAL ISSUES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
Issues Status
Energy Audit SIM card not communicating in some cases Modems burnt at sites- CPRI report awaited Gaps in GIS Incremental update and PART B network up gradation
Training Effective end user training to be imparted. ESCOMs identified Super user not trained. Training environment to be deployed by ITIA for hands on training.
GIS Additional licenses and servers Currently application server can cater to 40 concurrent web user at the bandwidth of 512kbps. Maximum concurrency of 217 users at peak hours at present (Without Bangalore 46 SDO going live) ITIA requested for Change request . BESCOM Board has opined to constitute a committee to deliberate the issue .
