18Summary of proposal
- Pilot be run over the December/January school
holidays 2006/2007. - UCT underwrites percentage of the running for
the pilot project, and if this facility
continues, for the next 2 years. - UCT makes available an appropriate venue for the
pilot facility, and if the project is considered
a success, appropriate venue facilities in the
future. - Governance and management
- A parent body will be established to oversee the
governance of the operation. The parent body
will report to the Educare Committee of Council.
- A Coordinator to plan and oversee operations.
The Coordinator will report to the Head of the
Educare Centre.
