  • 66 of 10th and 11th grade students in our sample
    improved their attendance from October to
    January.
  • On Average, 10th and 11th grade attendance went
    up 11 from October to January.

  • 75 of 12th grade students in our sample improved
    their attendance from October to January.
  • On Average, 12th grade attendance went up 2 from
    October to January.

  • Among the seven targeted GED students, 66 showed
    improvement in their attendance from October to
    January.
  • However, the overall percentage among GED
    students decreased by one percent.

Implications
  • Attendance improved on average among targeted
    population
  • It was more successful among diploma students
    than GED students
  • Next year we may need to start interventions
    earlier
  • Look into the impact the intervention has on
    class completion
