Dr. Bobby NG started practicing Occupational
Therapy in various local rehabilitation settings,
after graduated in the Hong Kong Polytechnic in
1984. Besides providing clinical service, he has
been active in serving the community by being
advisors to many patient self-help groups and NGO
agents providing health care service to the
elderly as well as being once a member of Hong
Kong Occupational Therapy Board. He received his
post-graduate training in Epidemiology,
Biostatistics and Public Health from the Chinese
University of Hong Kong, and then returned to
Hong Kong PolyU to pursue his PhD degree from
2004 to 2010. His PhD project was on the
application of a Chinese Mind-body Exercise, the
Health Qigong, for the rehabilitation of patients
with COPD. He is also one of the few occupational
therapists, who are qualified by the Chinese
Health Qigong Association of Beijing, for
coaching the Four Standardized Forms of Health
