  developed and implemented POP Pesticides-UNDP
  PCB-WB, SDC BAT-BEP-UNIDO AO Contaminated

Challenges

• Maintain the great efforts in management and risk
  control for POPs and POPs contaminated sites
• Continue to develop a full legal framework,
  especially for old storage sites and to control
  U-POPs.
• Continue to raise awareness on POPs risks,
  targeting more onto business and public
  communities.
• Increase financial support
• Assessment and selection of appropriate
  technologies for POPs treatment in Vietnam
• Integrated mechanism to manage POPs in framework
  of waste management, chemicals management and and
  environmental protection in general
