Social Networking in Schools
  • Facebook was started by Mark Zuckerberg, a
Harvard University student in 2004 as a means of
communicating with other college students. Now in
2012 it is used by an array of individuals to
    communicate about numerous things.
  • School Administrators debate the appropriateness
of incorporating social networking into schools.

Conclusion
  • It seems with all the technology that students
have available to them on a daily basis more of
it would be available to them in school. Social
Networking is just one of those tools that kids
have become very proficient in. They are able to
use this tool to make connection in the world far
beyond their reach. It would be a shame to block
such a powerful collaborative tool in school when
we are stressing the production of innovative
ideas and real world problem solving as a part of
    the curriculum.
