SECURE THE SCENE OF A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

CONDITIONS
Given orders, a traffic accident, a fully
operational MP vehicle, a blank DA Form 4137
(Evidence/Property Custody Document), a blank DA
Form 3946 (Military Police Traffic Accident
Report), and local SOP. This task will not be
conducted in MOPP-4.
STANDARDS

• Use appropriate measures to proceed to the scene
  of the Traffic Accident safely and quickly.
• 2. Provide first aid and/or obtain medical
  assistance for injured persons.
• 3. Do all necessary steps to secure the scene and
  protect the evidence and personal property form
  theft, damage, or destruction.
