  preach circumcision, why do I still suffer
  persecution? Then the offense of the cross has
  ceased.
• do suffer present passive indicative
• Perhaps the Judaizers, to promote their doctrine,
  accused Paul of teaching circumcision in some
  places?
• See Acts 163, 1Cor 718-20, I Cor 920, Gal 52
• Could Paul have responded differently to this
  type of peer pressure?
• The great offense of the cross to the Jews was
  Christ as the atonement for sin
• And if that was true, then the whole Jewish
  system of ordinances would have already perished.
  
• 1 Cor 123 but we preach Christ crucified, to
  the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks
  foolishness,

• Legalists always seek to add to the cross dont
  they?
• And those who propagate the message of grace need
  to learn to accept being persecuted.
• And man has no room to take any credit
• Gal 512 NKJV I could wish that those who
  trouble you would even cut themselves off!
• cut off literally will emasculate themselves
• More than circumcision
• After pagan rituals
• Should we interpret this literally?
• And/or from the body of Christ?
