    TECHNOLOGY OR SERVICE INDUSTRIES HAD MOVED
    OVERSEAS BY THE END OF 2004. BY 2008,
    ONE-QUARTER OF ALL TRADITIONAL INFORMATION
    TECHNOLOGY JOBS WILL BE IN FOUND IN SUCH
    COUNTRIES AS CHINA, INDIA, SINGAPORE, RUSSIA.
  • OF THE 50 TOP BEST-PAYING JOBS LISTED BY THE U.S.
    LABOR DEPARTMENT, 48 REQUIRE AT LEAST A COLLEGE
    DEGREE.
  • WE JUST HAVE TO SAY TO OUR FELLOW CITIZENS, GET
    A SKILL, AN EDUCATION, LEARN A SECOND LANGUAGE.

  • THE BIG CHANGE TODAY IS THAT ITS NO LONGER JUST
    LOW-COST LABOR THAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT ABROAD.
    ITS WELL-EDUCATED LABOR THAT CAN DO EFFECITIVELY
    ANY JOB THAT CAN BE DONE IN THE UNITED STATES.
  • UNLESS YOU ARE A PLUMBER, OR PERHAPS A NEWSPAPER
    REPORTER, OR ONE OF THESE JOBS WHICH IS
    GEOGRAPHICALLY SITUATED, YOU CAN BE ANYWHERE IN
    THE WORLD AND DO JUST ANY JOB.

  • WE ARE LIVING IN A KNOWLEDGE-BASED ECONOMY THAT
    REQUIERES A HIGLY SKILLED, EDUCATED, FLEXIBLE
    WORKFORCE. IT REQUIERES WORKERS WHO CONTINUALLY
    UPGRADE THEIR SKILLS OVER THE COURSE OF THEIR
    CAREERS, SO THEY CAN ADAPT AND EVOLVE WITH
    CHANGING INDUSTRIES.
