A myth is a made-up story that explains the
existence of a natural phenomenon such as where
thunder comes from or why snow falls from the
sky. Myths which often include gods and
goddesses and other supernatural characters who
have the power to make extraordinary things
happen are popular even when people know the
actual reasons for natural phenomena.

Diction DefinitionDiction can
be defined as style of speaking or writing
determined by the choice of words by a speaker or
a writer.Diction or choice of words separates
good writing from bad writing. Types of
DictionIndividuals vary their diction depending
on different contexts and settings. Therefore, we
come across various types of diction. It may be
formal where formal words are used in formal
situations e.g. press conferences, presentations

informal situations like writing or talking to
our friends. Slang is the use of words that
are impolite or newly coined.
