• Today is Mother's Day
• It is a day to honor our mothers.
• It is a day to recognize the work thatmothers
  are doing in raising children.

Have you used the phrase?

• In restaurant taste some food - This reminds
  me of how mom used to make it.
• Husband to his wife - This does not taste like
  mom made it.
• Child to dad - That is not how mom does it.

There is no protector like mom

• In the animal kingdom
• Fire chicken burned to death under the body
  of the hen small chicks were still alive
• Cats, dogs, possum, birds
• Moses' mother Exodus 21-3
• Women fight over baby 1 Kings 316-28

There is no protector like God

• In a similar way God is our protector
• Psalm 911-4 1 He who dwells in the secret place
  of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of
  the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, "He is my
  refuge and my fortress My God, in Him I will
  trust." 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the
  snare of the fowler and from the perilous
  pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His
  feathers, And under His wings you shall take
  refuge His truth shall be your shield and
  buckler.

There is no touch like mom's

• Small child with scrape or cut wants mom to
  kiss it and make it better
• There is healing and kindness in their touch

• Jacob wrestled with an angel
• Genesis 32
• God touched him
• Changed his life
• When God touches your life - - -You are never
  the same

There is no forgiveness like mom's

• Mother's are always ready to forgive small
  children

There is no forgiveness like God's

• Jeremiah 3134 No more shall every man teach his
  neighbor, and every man his brother, saying,
  'Know the Lord,' for they all shall know Me, from
  the least of them to the greatest of them, says
  the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and
  their sin I will remember no more."
• Luke 1334 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who
  kills the prophets and stones those who are sent
  to her! How often I wanted to gather your
  children together, as a hen gathers her brood
  under her wings, but you were not willing!

• God is willing to forgive you
• There are some conditions
• Faith in Jesus
• Ready to repent (change your life)
• Be baptized for the forgiveness of sins
• Ready to live a life for God
