Whose Mother Am I?
I am only about the size of a stick of butter at
birth. I live in rainforests in China. For
several days after I am born, my mother does not
leave the den, not even to eat or drink! I eat
bamboo. sound

• I am a pandas mother.

Whose Mother Am I?
I am from Africa. My ears are over five inches
long. My favorite food is the harvester
termite. I am sandy gray with lighter fur on my
belly and darker fur around the eyes, nose, ears,
feet, and tail tip. I also eat grasshoppers,
scorpions, spiders, millipedes, rodents, lizards,
fruits, and eggs. no sound byte.
I am a bat-eared fox.

• I have one blowhole on top of the head.
• I use echoes to find food.
• I eat fish, octopus, squid, and crustaceans like
  shrimp.

I am a killer whales mother.

• My thick fur has an outer coat of long hairs
  that stick together when wet, to keep me dry.
• I will also eat walrus, caribou, beached whales,
  grass, and seaweed.
• I like to go outside when it is cold.
