Moses At The Fork In The Road

• Heb 1124-26 By faith Moses, when he became of
  age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's
  daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction
  with the people of God than to enjoy the passing
  pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the reproach of
  Christ greater riches than the treasures in
  Egypt for he looked to the reward.

• Suffering affliction for obeying God
• OR ease, pleasure popularity (Matt 1230)

• By faith Moses said No! to sin Yes! to
  his new duties
• When we say No! to sin, we must say Yes!
  actively serving Christ (Luke 1124-26 Matt
  1033 Rom 611-13, 19)

• Right Choices Are Costly
• Moses gave up everything showed what it means
  to be a disciple of Christ (Lk 1426-27, 33)

• Heb 1126 AMP He considered the reproach of
  Christ contempt abuse shame borne for the
  Christ (the Messiah Who was to come) to be
  greater wealth than all the treasures of Egypt,
  for he looked forward away to the reward
  (recompense).

• Right Choices Are Costly
• Moses made his choice as we must make our choice
  FOR JESUS CHRIST! (Heb 1126)

• Right Choices Have The Best Outcome
• Moses became a Deliverer, a Lawgiver, a
  Counselor to millions (Heb 1138-40)
• Moses is now, again, with Christ (Matt 171-3)
• Only those who stand with Christ today, will live
  with Him in the hereafter!
