• Use the imperfect subjunctive when the context of
  the sentence is in the past.
• Same subjunctive criteria still apply.
• Imperfect forms
• Use the ellos/ellas preterite form
• Remove the ron ending
• Add the imperfect subjunctive endings

• Same endings for AR, -ER, -IR!
• Yo ra
• Tú ras
• El/ella/ud. ra
• Nosotros ramos
• Vosotros rais
• Ellos/as/uds. ran

• Preterite ellos/ellas form tuvieron
• Yo tuviera
• Tú tuvieras
• El/ella/ud. tuviera
• Nosotros tuviéramos
• Vosotros tuvierais
• Ellos/as/uds. tuvieran
• Notice youll need an accent mark in the
  nosotros form.
