• Network of specialists in different fields of
  transplantation medicine, belonging to the main
  hospitals that perform SOT and BMT in Spain.
• Sponsored by Spanish Ministry of Health
• 16 participating centers and 3 reference
  laboratories
• Surveillance began September 2003
• All transplant recipients were recorded in the
  database
