What is the nuclear membrane?

• Also known as nuclear envelope
• Membrane that surrounds and protects the nucleus
• Regulates what enters/leaves the nucleus

Prokaryotic vs. Eukaryotic Cells

• Some cells do not have a nucleus. These are
  prokaryotic cells.
