3How to Publish an eText for iPad
- Step 1
- Submit Conversion Request form
- Be sure iPad view is selected
- Step 2
- Submit RUMBA product and Resource ID form
- RUMBA Resource and Product ID will be emailed to
the requestor. - Step 3
- Once eText is approved by the BU, submit a
Promotion Request Form and include the RUMBA IDs
on the form. - Step 4
- Once title is promoted, release team will notify
the requestor.

- eText for iPads on PSN
- Standalone (no course) eText sales

- Note If you are publishing an eText to PSN,
PSN, or CD-ROM and DO NOT have an iPad version,
the process is NOT CHANGING.
5Tips and Guidelines for RUMBA Forms
- The RUMBA form must include the following
- Customer-facing Name of Product
- This name will display in Portal.
- All Catalog ISBNs representing how customer can
license the product - Not component ISBNs
- eText final published url

- June 15 is the deadline to submit RUMBA
publishing forms for eText for iPad and
standalone eText products to be available to
customers in August - Contact Marisa Urbano if you have problems with
this deadline

Difference
- Licenses
- What an organization purchases (i.e. 500 seats of
MyWorld Grade 6 for 1 year) - Subscriptions
- The relationship between the licensed product and
an individual user (i.e. Mrs. Jones is subscribed
to MyWorld Grade 6) - Note Sometimes subscriptions count against
seats (in the case of students), and sometimes
they dont (in the case of teachers).
