Adverbs

• An adverb modifies a verb, an adjective, or
  another adverb.
• Adverbs modify three different parts of speech.
• To recognize adverbs, you need to know how they
  modify each of these three parts of speech.

When modifying a verb you will ask one of the
four questions as follows

• Where?
• When?
• In what way?
• To what extent?
