Two polygons are considered congruent if they are
the same size and shape. Examples
It does not matter whether or not they have been
rotated.

If you can slide, flip or turn one polygon so
that if fits exactly on top of one another, then
the polygons are considered congruent. This is
another purpose of studying transformations.
