Design Requirements

• The 3-phase output voltage THD should
• be limited to 5.
• The phase to phase voltage should be limited
  to 43 volts /- .5 volts
• The weight limit is 20 pounds.
• The size should be 12 cubed.

Problem

• The Phase shifter was designed with Operational
  Amplifiers
• The phase shifter causes B and C phase reference
  signals to be unstable.
• The comparator can not produce PWM pulses with
  unstable reference signals.

Possible Solution

• Eliminate the existing control circuit.
• Replace with a microcontroller that will be
  programmed to output the PWM pulses.
• This method will not require a reference signal
• Will have less components
