  that he may command his children and his
  household after him, that they keep the way of
  the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that
  the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken
  to him.

• Abraham was a leader of his children.
• He did this by keeping the way of the Lord.

Lois Eunice

• 2 Tim. 15-65 when I call to remembrance the
  genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first
  in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice,
  and I am persuaded is in you also.

• Eunice was a faithful woman.
• Her faith was not an act, but sincere.
• Sincere faith can convert our children even
  without a believing father.

  known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make
  you wise for salvation through faith which is in
  Christ Jesus.

• Eunice began to teach Timothy when he was young.
• She taught him the Holy Scriptures.
• Eunice depended on this to make her son wise!

  find out whether these things were so.
