  • On April 23, 1564, St. Georges Day, Willy was
    born at Stratford-upon-Avon
  • His father, John Shakespeare, and his mother,
    Mary Arden, raised Willy
  • He was baptized on April 26, 1564 in Stratfords
    Holy Trinity Church
  • He was middle class and his father was a local
    businessman and glove maker who owned his own
    leather shop
  • Willy had two brothers and five sisters
  • He was schooled at The Kings New School

  • Willy married a hot mama named Anne Hathaway on
    November 28, 1582
  • He had three wee babes named Susana, Judith, and
    Hamnet
  • The Globe Theater, practically his crib, where
    many of Willys plays were performed, was built
    on February 21, 1599
  • Poor, little Hamnet died at age 11 on August 11,
    1596
  • Anne Hathaway died on August 6, 1623 (sucks for
    willy)
  • The Globe Theater burned down during a Henry VIII
    performance on June 29, 1613
