6Objectives of the Accelerator
- Create a connected and supportive innovation
ecosystem - Help SMEs understand demand, and test innovations
from an early stage - Establish London as the place to develop next
generation digital health products - Create jobs and contribute to wider economic
growth and wealth creation by bringing new
products and processes to market.
7Delivery - Expected Outcomes
- Three 12 months long cohorts to support 30 SMEs
each year through - Colocation and coordination support (through NHS
Navigators, an online community, access to
workspaces in London hospital sites) - Bespoke support to help develop early pilots and
product validation through our Innovation Voucher
scheme, with NHS Navigators facilitating
provision of access to a network of clinicians,
advice on testing solutions to meet patients
needs, and health economics - Support to achieve growth and scale access to a
network of digital health entrepreneurs,
investors and companies ad-hoc events (Boot
camps, investor days) an Innovation Showcase at
the end of the programme.
